Our monthly recaps, designed to keep you informed about everything we've been up to as a business. Each month, we'll provide a overview of our latest projects, milestones, and behind-the-scenes insights. Whether it's updates on new initiatives, achievements, or glimpses into the daily workings of our team, these recaps will give you an insider's look at our journey. We hope these updates will not only keep you connected with our progress but also inspire and engage you with the exciting developments happening at Seashell. Here's how our 2025 kicked off!

We Celebrated The Latest Milestone in Our Partnership with Neptune's Pirates 🏴‍☠️

We were thrilled to announce that £1 from EVERY 3.0 robe sale from Jan 1st 2025 onwards will go directly to the Captain Paul Watson Foundation, supporting their vital mission to protect marine life and our oceans! This marks a HUGE milestone in our partnership after last year’s incredible collaboration with the Mission Robe, plus Ghost Net 1000 Campaign and monthly beach cleans, which delivered on our direct action pledges and financial contributions.

Every robe you purchase helps support this vital cause. We’re also excited to announce that from this January you can now add an extra donation at checkout, making it easier than ever to contribute directly to the foundation with any purchase. Thank you for your continued support!

We interviewed Ocean Plastic Heroes for The Seashell Spirit Series! ♻️

January has been an inspiring start to the year, filled with stories of innovation and passion for our oceans. The New Year Seashell Spirit stories continue to make waves as we spotlight incredible individuals and their connection to the ocean. This January, we had the privilege of interviewing Sam Gill from Behaviour Change, who transforms ghost nets and ocean plastic into stunning functional products like jewellery. We also connected with Olympic rower Martin Helseth, whose dedication to clean seas takes him free-diving for ocean plastic in the polluted waters of his home in Oslo, Norway. Check out these interviews here and keep an eye out for more inspiring stories coming this year.

We Introduced our Epic Drybag in Forest 🎒

The 25L Drybag is a customer favourite, so we launched it in a brand new colour-way, a beautiful natural green. We love this bag because it's expertly crafted for unbeatable waterproof protection, ensuring your gear stays dry and secure, no matter the weather. Don't just take our word for it! Check out the latest review by Andrew Wallace at Swim Pembrokeshire here.

Grab your own Forest Green bag and please tag us in your adventures with it!

We Made a Cool Video at Aberdeen's Beach Coffee Shack! ☕️

The Scotsurf Coffee Trailer is an independent, solar-powered coffee stop run by Dan and Alfie, who at only 18 and 19, are creating a unique community space along the beach boulevard in Aberdeen. You may recognise it from our alternative Friday Night Beach Clean and Music event last year! Since it's our local spot, we teamed up with the boys to share a video capturing its charm. You can watch it here. Some of our favourite Seashell moments are local collaborations as it really highlights the importance of community

The next time you head out for an early morning walk along the beach, aim to find this hidden gem to fuel your day (and let them know who sent you!)

Saturday Dips Continue in Icy Waters 🥶

ice swimming

We’re often asked this question, and the answer is yes—our weekly sea dips continue all through winter! We'll admit that, for the first time ever, many of our team members have been traveling or tied up with other commitments most Saturdays this month. However, our dedicated crew of regular sea swimmers has kept the tradition alive, enjoying the water and hosting the dips on their own. Pictured are Donnie, Roy, and Alec who have been dipping with Seashell for the last couple of years.

And Finally...

Thank you for your support so far this year. We're excited about what's to come and have some surprises in store that will be announced soon, make sure you don't miss out! Keep in touch by following us below.
