Our monthly recaps, designed to keep you informed about everything we've been up to as a business. Each month, we'll provide a overview of our latest projects, milestones, and behind-the-scenes insights. Whether it's updates on new initiatives, achievements, or glimpses into the daily workings of our team, these recaps will give you an insider's look at our journey. We hope these updates will not only keep you connected with our progress but also inspire and engage you with the exciting developments happening at Seashell. Here's how our June went!
Kristie’s Gift to the Cave! 🗻

Kristie, one of our amazing customers from Washington DC, took her Seashell drybag on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Son Doong this month, the largest cave in the world, nestled in the heart of Vietnam. At the end of her adventure, she gifted her drybag to her guide, Dai, as a way of leaving a piece of her journey behind. It’s a gesture that speaks volumes—Seashell connecting people across continents.
We've already had updates from the duo which has been super cool: Dai with the original bag exploring Vietnam, and Christie with her new one, gifted to ensure she's covered for whatever adventure comes next!
We Interviewed Nurit & Francesca 👸🏼

This month, we shared beautiful new chapters of our Seashell Spirit Stories series with Nurit and Francesca. These two souls captured the spirit of what it means to journey with purpose—where creativity, activism, and love for the ocean intersect. Click on their names below to read the full interviews - they're not to be missed!
Nurit Dascal is an inspiring solo-sailor from Berlin, who’s challenging norms with her boldly painted boat Gaia, dripping in pink glitter—and sharing the raw journey of building both vessel and self.
Francesca Busca is an eco‑artivist, mosaicist, and founder of initiatives like ArtforTrash© , Payment in Kind(ness)© , and the emerging GREENy bastARTs . She transforms everyday waste—crisp packets, coffee pods, fruit nets, marine debris—into compelling art mosaics, challenging us to see discarded items as 'trashure'.
Lyke Wake Legend! Damo’s 56.8-Mile Heat Trek 🥾

Our incredible customer Damo completed the Lyke Wake Walk in 16 hours—across 56.8 brutal miles in scorching 29°C heat. True to form, he had his trusted Seashell Drybag with him the entire way. Proof that when the challenge is real, Seashell can go the distance. Damo, we salute you!
Alongside Kristie’s incredible Vietnam adventure, it’s been so inspiring for our team to hear from customers and see what’s being achieved while trusting our gear out in the wild. A huge thanks to both for sharing their stories—if you’ve got one of your own, we’d love to hear it!
From Missions to Movement 🪢

Ever since Project One Wave kicked off last month, the energy hasn’t stopped flowing. Our socials and Whatsapp groups have become a buzzing hive of collaboration—people linking up for beach cleans, ghost net retrievals, art activism, community talks, with our videos shown at events such as London Climate Action Week and Earthfest. The ripple effect is real, and it’s beautiful to watch.
Behind the scenes, we’re in full momentum mode—planning a summit for late 2025, mapping out recces to remote clean-up zones, and growing this wave into a full-force movement. Watch this space, and if you'd like to join the growing community please visit here.
Our Dippers United! 🌊

Our weekly dippers community has been embracing the wildness of a Scottish summer with more shared swims and fun than ever. A highlight this month was the community BBQ and sea dip organised by Aberdeen Surf Lifesaving Club, where old friends and new faces came together for good food, music, and a chilly sea dip.
We’ve also started adding monthly adventures to new swim spots. Whether it’s sunrise swims or spontaneous post-work plunges, this crew is diving deep into connection—and we’re here for it.
And Finally...
As we wrap up another incredible month, we want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support. Whether you're purchasing our gear, supporting The Captain Paul Watson Foundation through our £1 per robe initiative, or simply sharing our stories, we couldn't do it without you!
